Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.5) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Oct. 18.898 and 19.777 UT with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 21h17m35s.78, Decl. = +26o01'12".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 13".5 west and 12".5 north of the center of the apparent host galaxy, which itself has position end figures 36s.78, 00'59".5. Nothing is present at this position on Boles' images from 2009 Aug. 13 and 29 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey plates from 1991 Sept. 8 (limiting red mag 20.5) and 1995 July 29 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
