IAUSUBS@CFA.HARVARD.EDU or FAX 617-495-7231 (subscriptions) CBAT@CFA.HARVARD.EDU (science) URL http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/iau/cbat.html SUPERNOVAE 2009ii, 2009ik, AND 2009lx D. Milisavljevic, J. Parrent, and R. Fesen, Dartmouth College, report that a low-dispersion spectrum (range 410-780 nm) of 2009ii (cf. CBET 1920), taken on Dec. 12.5 UT with the 2.4-m Hiltner telescope (+ CCDS) at MDM Observatory, supports a type-II supernova classification; comparison with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" tool (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ. 666, 1024) provides a good match with the type-IIP event 1992H at approximately 100 days post-maximum light. Spectra of 2009ik (cf. CBET 1923) show it to be a type-Ia supernova; SNID comparison templates best match the type-Ia event 2003du at 109 days post-maximum. Spectra of 2009lx (cf. CBET 2048) show pronounced H_alpha emission indicative of a type-II supernova; SNID templates best match the type-IIP event 2004et at two weeks post-maximum light.
