APPARENT SUPERNOVA IN MCG+09-19-24 (PGC34410) T. Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.8) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Mar 23.133 and 23.921 with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 11h16m50.15s. Decl. = +54o43'53".2, which is approximately 3".6 east and 10".0 north of the center of MCG+09-19-24. Nothing is present at this position on Boles' images from 2010 Mar 07 and 2009 Feb 09 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitised Sky Survey Plates from 1991-04-03 (limiting red mag 20.5), and 1991-02-09 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
