APPARENT SUPERNOVA IN MCG+12 -17-25 (PGC61885) T. Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.6) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Oct 20.782 and 21.967 with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. =18h27m00s.86, Decl. = +72o50'56".3, which is approximately 7".6 east and 10".6 north of the center of MCG+12-17-25. Nothing is present at this position on Boles's images from 2011 Apr 27 and Apr 03 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitised Sky Survey Plates from 1993-08-12 (limiting red mag 20.5), and 1992-07-27 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
