APPARENT SUPERNOVA IN UGC 4512 T. Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.7) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Dec 02.9250 and 03.9356 with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. =08h39m42s.02, Decl. = +60o58'16".0, which is approximately 15".1 east and 7".7 north of the center of UGC 4512. Nothing is present at this position on Boles's images from 2011 Oct 28 and Dec 28 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitised Sky Survey Plates from 1996-03-16 (limiting red mag 20.5), and 2000-01-07 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
